We're looking for a Senior IT Manager, Finance & HR Analytics
This role is Hybrid
We are seeking a talented Sr. IT Manager, Finance & HR Analytics. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Enterprise Data & Analytics, that is responsible for data solutions and analytics across Finance, Accounting and HR services. The right candidate has strong domain knowledge of Oracle Financial Modules (O2C, P2P, & GL), curiosity and desire to improve and constantly learn. The candidate should be a hands-on leader with expertise in Snowflake & Tableau and a proven track record of driving best practices and processes.
The Sr. Manager will be the data evangelist for Finance & HR domains showing the power of data to our Finance and HR business teams, building data stories and make a major shift on how Enterprise decisions are made using data. This individual will: a) Work with sales, customer support and customer success leaders to understand their data needs, b) Create new business metrics that can help drive business forward, c) Design solutions with a team of analysts and architects d) Guide and mentor the team to create highly effective data and analytics solution.
They will work independently and a) Partner with a global team of PMs, IT/ETL engineers (onsite and offshore); b) Synthesize business meetings into clear requirements, define KPI and metrics, prioritize requirements and create roadmaps with business and mentor the team to create best in class analytics.
In this role you will
- Partner with Business stakeholders in Finance & HR to understand their business problems and provide best-in-class analytics solutions.
- Support defining and developing KPI's with business partners critical to measuring health of Financial Business processes and business outcomes.
- Manage the business expectations and work in an Agile delivery framework for timely project execution.
- Clearly communicate progress, dependencies, risks, issues, key metrics to business and IT leadership.
- As needed, hands-on analysis of business data using SQL, building tableau visualizations and communicating the analysis in an impactful manner to the business teams and executives.
- Mentor analysts and visualization engineers to produce creative data visualization and data stories.
- Strong promoter of data governance, data quality and self-service. Enable business to create their own dashboards while still creating and maintaining a good governance framework.
- Documentation of the requirements and data dictionary and lineage.
- Creating forums to train and build a tableau community across the Finance & HR functions.
- Drive adoption of Tableau and measure the success of data products created by the team.
You have what it takes if you have
- Passion for solving business problems with data.
- Excellent Communication & Planning Skills
- 10+ years of experience in IT, driving large analytics initiatives.
- 3-5 years of experience in a management role, managing engineers & analysts.
- 3-5 years of experience and proficiency in Tableau, SQL and other analytics tools and scripting language.
- Strong understanding of cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/Redshift)
- Proven experience working with Oracle Cloud Financial Modules preferably in a SaaS company. Knowledge of key metrics used to measure the operations and growth of SaaS company.
- Knowledge of workflows in Enterprise Business Applications - Oracle Cloud, One Model
- Experience with Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and General Ledger processes in a SaaS company
- Experience in using tools like Jira to manage the project and production support demands.
- Strong business acumen & demonstrated aptitude for analytics that drive action and business decisions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills - identifying data issues and anomalies during the analysis
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or Business/Masters in business/analytics.

Total Rewards:
At Cornerstone, our transparent total rewards program is based on three core tenets: equitable pay, market dynamic research, and skill-based appraisal.
The base salary range for this position is: $132900 - $212600 USD
In addition to competitive base pay, the compensation package for this role may include other incentives like bonus or commission, along with a generous benefits package. Additional base pay may be available if you reside in a high-cost metro area (New York City or San Francisco Bay Area).
This range reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position. Where an individual's pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
