Senior IT Project Manager (OPH)
Job Description
The Senior IT Project Manager (PM) will manage Data Cleanup and Standardization projects at the Office of Population Health (OPH). Goal of these projects is consolidating multiple different data sources into single instances. The Senior IT Project Manager will work closely with the staff at OPH, the IT Application Manager/s, ETL Developer/s and a Senior Database Analyst/Designer to analyze and document the current data sources and generate work instructions for the ETL Developer/s. The Senior IT Project Manager will apply industry best practices and concepts to achieve the set goals and report to the IT Program Manager at OPH. The position reports to the IT Program Lead for OPH who is under the Executive Office of Human Services (EOHHS)
Requirements
JOB DUTIES (Detailed Statement of Duties and Responsibilities):
* Develop and maintain project plan/s and analysis plan/timeline with the business and assure the required business resources (SMEs) are available
* Facilitate and schedule analysis meetings with the Database Analyst/Designer and Business SMEs
* Develop and maintain stakeholder and SME catalogue/s (by data domain)
* Define scope/s and timelines and deliverables
* Report and track status, risks, and issues of the project/s
* Schedule testing with SMEs through business contact * Obtain business approvals and sign offs
REQUIRED SKILLS (Special Skill Set, Abilities, Knowledge):
* Demonstrated leadership with strong organizational, presentation and customer service skills
* Strong technology background in at least one of the following:
* Database Technologies
* Network Technology
* Application Development
* Software Development Lifecycles
* Proven expertise in oral & written communication, and presentation skills Desirable
* Experience working cloud-based environments such as AWS.
* Experience maintaining operational confidentiality of sensitive information.
* Familiar with SCRUM and AGILE methodologies.
* Communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Years' Experience, Certificates):
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a minimum of (7) seven years of IT experience in one or more technical roles.
* PMP and/or CSM certification
* Minimum (5) five years of extensive hands-on experience in IT project management, as a project manager, with full accountability and financial responsibility.
* Experienced in Use cases and testing methodologies including; functional, systems, integration, performance, and UAT.
