The Sr IT Project Manager, Project Management Office partners with the business and IT delivery teams to guide the planning and alignment on the scope, schedule, and cost for Agile product delivery. The Sr. IT Project Manager works on Voice and Workforce Management modernization, enhancements, and product capabilities of diverse scope and complexity that will improve our member experience as well as mentors the PMO team for process improvements for governance, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities

Humana is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager that:

• Assembles and leads the project teams, identifies appropriate resources needed, constructs the resource plan, creates the project budget, and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
• Actively manages stakeholder partnerships and mitigates risks.
• Collaborates with DRIs to understand system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
• Oversees the interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects, and sets strategies and leads program execution to deliver longer term business value.
• Possesses specialized knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks with Waterfall, Hybrid, and SAFe agile methodology practices used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects.
• Begins to influence department's strategy.
• Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
• Will possess knowledge on procurement processes and financial expense reconciliation for large budgets upwards of 10 million within the product funding model

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience
• 5 or more years of technical experience
• Demonstrated experience in technical product selection, technical design and practical implementation of IT solutions
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFe Agile Experience
• Master's Degree in Business Administration
• Prior experience with the following technologies (Webex, MS Teams, Azure ADO, Jira Align, Qtest, ServiceNow PPM, etc.)
• Longevity working in Oracle or IBM Relational Database Management Systems, SQL, data warehouse, decision support and reporting system environments
• Working knowledge of On Premise and/or Cloud Migration Architecture
• Six Sigma and/or Project Management Institute certification
• Experience in the health solutions industry

Additional Requirements

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

Work-At-Home Requirements

• WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
• A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
• Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
• A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
