The Senior IT Security Engineer must have a solid understanding of application and infrastructure security principles. This position will work with infrastructure, application, and the risk/governance group to ensure Loomis security standards are applied while maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain organization security technologies to comply with applicable federal and state laws and industry requirements, including, but not limited to, PCI, HIPAA, and GDPR
• Research and implement security policies that balances enterprise data protection with user productivity
• Communicate security across the engineering and Web Dev team and beyond, including education, mentorship as well as a commitment to building relationships across the business
• Act as the technical lead to implement and support new technologies and updated platforms, including cloud-based services.
• Perform systems vulnerability and risk assessments and make recommendations to prioritize remediation efforts
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to threats alerts using existing security tools.
• Conducting a forensic analysis of cyber attacks to determine the source of the attack and how to prevent similar attacks in the future
• Act as part of the cybersecurity incident response team
• Review, define, and maintain information security processes, controls, and procedures to ensure ongoing risk mitigation and compliance
• Document new and existing security solutions and architectures
• Perform device configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security infrastructure:
  • Microsoft 365 E5 Products and Services.
  • Intrusion Detection, Prevention, and Endpoint Security
  • Web Application Firewalls and Proxies
  • Internet Content filtering
  • Identity Access Management
  • Data Loss Prevention
  • Log Management
  • Desktop policy enforcement, including SCCM
  • Active Directory policy governance
  • Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM)
  • Vulnerability Management & Reporting
