Maven is looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT Team. This position will monitor, maintain, and support Maven's computer systems, applications, and network. You will work on IT projects and initiatives, as well as assist with the day-to-day support and operations of the Maven user base.
As a Senior IT Support Engineer at Maven, your core responsibilities include:
  • Spend approximately:
    • 70% of your time working with the internal IT team on new initiatives and projects
    • 30% your time maintaining existing IT infrastructure and supporting Maven's users
  • Improve internal ITSM product that supports users - features, workflows, integrations, analytics
  • Help integrate third-party SaaS products into our Okta and BetterCloud environments
  • Provide operations support for key IT processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and vendor management
  • Support products such as Google Workspaces, Jamf, Jira, Okta, and our managed fleet of macOS devices
  • Provide second-level technical support to our internal users

We're looking for someone to bring core capabilities to our team:
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT support/engineering role
  • Experience with administration and configuration of ITSM products like Freshservice
  • Experience with administration of project/incident management tools such as Jira or Asana
  • Experience building and administering products such as Okta and BetterCloud
  • Experience with Google Workspaces products (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, etc) and administration
  • MacOS support experience
  • Extensive help desk support experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred experiences and backgrounds:
  • Technical education/degree, or equivalent working experience a plus
  • Experience with MDM products
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Knowledge of security products and concepts (EDR)
  • Some project management experience

For candidates in NYC, CA or CO, the salary range for this role is $70,000 - $145,000 per year. You may also be entitled to receive a bonus, stock options, and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
