Senior IT Support Specialist
This position will be in the New York Metro area. You will have significant experience in supporting a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You are comfortable working as part of a distributed team and will be primarily supporting operations in our Global offices.
You are someone who asks questions, is confident in not knowing everything, and would rather collaborate with others than go it alone. You are empathic and well-organized, but able to work outside of the boundaries when vital. On top of your validated history of success, you have a passion for technology and, like us, you value hard work and fun in equal measure.
What You'll Do
- Remotely tackling problems with Apple & Windows products, including desktop, laptop, and mobile hardware
- Being a point of escalation for the IT Support Team
- Okta user account full lifecycleÂ
- Provisioning and configuring SaaS applications for end-users
- Responding to IT Support requests via ticketing system, Zoom, and Slack
- Hardware/software asset management
- Managing Knowledge Base articles
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications
- Managing multiple cases at one time / flexibility shifting priorities
- Assist IT Management in evaluation of third-party vendors as needed
Work Hours:
- This position will require you to be available during core business hours.
What We're Looking For
Basic Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of experience in IT support roles and fundamental networking skills
- In-depth/SuperAdmin experience administering cloud-based IT environments (Google Workspace, O365, Okta, Zoom, Slack, etc)
- Administration of Apple / Win computer products using enterprise management tools
- Experience using and running ticket-based enterprise workflow management systems
- A positive, service-oriented demeanor
- Tried problem-solving skills
- Good Interpersonal relations
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (50+ pounds) as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- JAMF/MDM/InTune administration
- Jira & Confluence support
- User lifecycle automation tools
- Linux workstation support / management
Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements
This position is based out of Fastlyâs New York City office. Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.Â
This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.
Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $89,880 to $132,170.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastlyâs equity and discretionary bonus programs.
