Senior IT Support Systems Analyst
Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Apply knowledge and best practices to support users using Oracle e-Business Suite/Oracle Fusion applications
- Support users in Essbase or OAC Cloud Services
- Configure applications based on requirements submitted by business owners and best practices
- Facilitate and complete testing activities
- Troubleshoot system/ interface issues and coordinate with appropriate support teams to resolve problems
- Participate in projects and provide cross-functional application support coordination on issues and design planning for new initiatives
- Serve as liaison between third party support vendors
- Manage quarterly upgrades or Oracle Fusion Application
- Tableau, OTBI, SSRS, reporting
Additional Responsibilities:
- Work with management to address complex cross-functional business issues and opportunities
- Assist all levels of management in improving processes through reviews, participation and other collaborative efforts
- Drive recommendations for business process improvements
- Deliver high-quality work products on time with minimal direction
- Contribute insightful thought leadership into technology and business processes to enable business teams to meet their objectives
- Demonstrate a commitment to acquiring new capabilities
Knowledge & Skills:
- Undergraduate degree required with emphasis in Accounting and/or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of special projects and enterprise application experience (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, J.D. Edwards, or other top-tier enterprise application) with hands-on implementation and configuration from a functional perspective
- Technical/Functional experience with the following Oracle Fusion or Oracle EBS R12 or higher modules is desirable but not required:
- General Ledger
- Cash Management
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Fixed Assets
- Project Costing
- BPM/Workflow Experience
- Good presentation, communication, and facilitation skills (oral and written)
- Experience working with cross-functional business initiatives involving varying levels of the organization, from end users to executive leadership, in developing solution requirements and translating business needs into, technical requirements
- Must be self-motivated with an ability to initiate, and follow through on multiple concurrent projects under minimal supervision with high attention to detail
- Strong technical background and understanding of writing SQL queries
- Rest API's or Other Oracle API's experience preferred
- Intermediate skills in current office applications (MS Office, Visio, Project)
