Senior IT User Support Specialist
The Senior IT User Support Specialist is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to employees for a range of hardware and software related systems. Under limited supervision, this job responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users, which includes trouble shooting, fault rectification and problem escalation.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide a high level of customer service while working in a dynamic complex environment under limited supervision and direction. Provide second level end-user PC support for staffed locations and remote offices.
- Provide high level on-site call center support
- Perform configuration/installation and troubleshooting of PC hardware including laptops, VDI, desktops, tablets/iPads, printers, messaging and mobile devices, and MIFI
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, MacOS, Microsoft Office Suite other applications
- Provide incident & problem summaries, status reports, and project status as required
- Comply with and support ITIL change-incident-problem-asset management processes and work instructions
- Coordinate with 2nd and 3rd tier teams to ensure timely resolution of complex end user technology issues and incidents to ensure meeting agreed upon service levels
- Maintain highly accurate inventory records
- Provide end user training and knowledge documentation
- Deploy, procure, and collect desktop equipment from end users

- Perform and assist with asset management duties including updating the authoritative CMDB System. Tracks IT assets and monitors asset management systems.
- Assist with the development of Asset Management processes.
- Provide appropriate data for the report to help with the analysis of trends and makes recommendations for inventory forecasting.
- Conduct research on orders, provide status updates to management and work with vendors to reconcile purchase orders.
- Evaluate client requests and escalate if additional approvals are required if appropriate.
- Coordinate the disposition of assets from other regions in order to manage and balance inventory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience providing break-fix support in a similar-like position;

Base Pay Range: $25.75/hr. - $42.91/hr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
