JSCAPE services the enterprise secure file transfer needs deployed by customers worldwide who rely on its products and services to securely and reliably exchange mission critical data. JSCAPE is recognized as a leading Managed File Transfer vendor for a wide variety of industry verticals including healthcare, finance and government. JSCAPE supports various deployment models including on-premises and in the public cloud.

As a Senior Java Architect, JSCAPE Networking, you will assist in the creation, maintenance and debugging of enterprise file transfer software. You must have at least 5-10 years of software development experience, be able to work independently and be self-driven and proactive. You will work in a collaborative environment, closely with our DevOps, infrastructure, and development teams to deliver high-performance, scalable, and secure solutions.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years Java software development experience.

• Expertise in Java concurrency, multi-threading and performance tuning.

• Hands-on Experience with socket programming and understanding of various file transfer protocols (such as FTP/SFTP, SCP, HTTP) and SSL/TLS.

• Solid understanding on end-to-end MFT flows including analyzing packets using Wireshark

• Good understanding of EDI protocols including AS2 and OFTP2.

• Strong knowledge of Java security best practices, including secure coding, authentication, and authorization.

• Experience with version control software such as Git.

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both application performance and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience integrating with RESTful services using JSON.

• Understanding of networking protocols and deployment models relevant to cloud environments.

• Familiarity with .NET skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to write clean, well designed and documented code.

• Ability to communicate with all stakeholders

• AWS &/or Cloud experience is a plus
