Senior Java Developer

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Java engineer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Location: Charlotte, North Carolina / Remote

Responsibilities:

• 6-10 years of overall experience
• Perform java development activities and build REST API's that are used by several teams.
• Perform POC's to prove the concepts work.
• Represent the team in meetings with other projects .
• Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting and integrating new features.
• Recommend solutions to improve new and existing design.
• Participate in Code review meetings
• Monitor Code quality and consistently strive for improvement in that
• Educate staff members through training and individual support.
• Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.
• Understand and document data flows in and between different systems/applications.

Qualifications

• RESTAPI creation
• Java 8 + and Spring
• Ability to create webservices and also use them
• OKTA integration for APIs
• EKS Deployment and maintenance for APIs
• Springboot application build and backend API
• SwaggerUI M&E
• Perform java development activities and build REST API's that are used by several teams.
