Position: Senior Java Developer

Infotel UK is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. As part of Infotel Group, a leading consulting company, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and developing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. We work with clients in various industries, including automotive, banking, and public services, providing you with the chance to work on exciting and impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software products with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Analyze requirements and provide effective technical solutions and recommendations.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for software systems and APIs.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, leveraging logging and monitoring tools to optimize performance.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on development best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (versatility in Java versions 8 and above).
• Experience with frameworks and technologies such as Spring (MVC, Boot), RESTful web services, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization with Docker).
• Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle) and experience with ORM tools (Hibernate).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
