As a Senior Java Developer, you’ll take on the following responsibilities:

• Be an important part of our multinational agile software development team 
• Continue our transition towards a microservice architecture 
• Implement high-quality and scalable video asset management and video streaming solutions for enterprise customers 
• Write well-structured and documented clean code 
• Adopt the DevOps mindset: You build it, you run it 
• Continuously update and expand the existing product 

To thrive in the role as a Senior Java Developer, you’ll need:

• Relevant work experience of minimum 5 years in building high traffic web applications using Java 8 or later, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, message brokers like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ, and building CI/CD pipelines 
• Hands-on experience working with multi-threaded applications, distributed systems, and developing micro-service based applications 
• Hands-on experience in designing software and solving complexity by using OOP design patterns and SOLID principles 
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases 
• Previous experience in implementing RESTful APIs 
• Practical experience implementing automated tests: Unit, integration, and functional 
• Very good communications skills 
• Fluency in the English language

Additional bonus skills:

• Experience in building Domain Driven Design web applications and services 
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and Wowza SE
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm charts 
• Experience with GraphQL Java APIs 
• Experience with event-driven architectures
