Join us as a Senior Java Developer/Fullstack Developer

In close partnership with the business, the Capital Partners Tech team is on a multi-year mission to modernize the PB platform. In that regard, several turnkey initiatives are in flight to automate and redesign several key components of the platform across Front office, Data, Reporting and Operations. This role is going to be an integral part of this transformation to develop the next generation tools and execute the platform strategy for the business.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

• Spearhead the design and development of a robust, extensible middle tier services layer that serves as the backbone for critical client-facing applications
• Design and develop an extensible framework, middle tiers services, and components that could be reused by future strategic initiatives with Capital Partners and across the larger organization
• Become part of a strong team to develop the internal/external client portal and other critical applications
• Contribute to the architecture and design decisions for application development
• Follow consistent practice in coding and unit testing, adhere to established code reviews, standards and practices
• Work collaboratively with distributed teams with a global footprint
• Identify issues and risks and proactively bring it to the tech lead for resolution
• Communicate efficiently within and outside the team
• Improve the code quality with effective testing and review process
• Design and develop scalable technical implementations

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Java 8+/J2EE technologies
• Strong microservices architecture knowledge and best practices
• Must have experience and good understanding of Frameworks like Spring /Hibernate
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Strong concept knowledge in Web Services, REST APIs, OAuth, IAM
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English (minimum C1)
• Knowledge of Angular 10 or greater is a plus
• Experience with Git version control
• OpenShift/Kubernetes experience is a plus
