Responsibilities:
- Work in a scrum team of software engineers to build next generation of identity and access management platform for Amex customers
- Hands on Engineer with strong experience in building mission critical enterprise systems

Minumum Qualifications:
- You have at least 6+ years of experience working in a scrum team using agile methodologies for software delivery
- You have excellent technical and communication skills to clearly articulate and present solutions to complex problems
- You have at least 6+ years of hands on software development experience using Java or similar programming language
- You are an expert in building, testing, maintaining and debugging highly scalable and highly available production systems
- You have broad experience building APIs using techniques like REST, RPC (gRPC and similar), Functions (AWS Lambda)
- Experience with both public internet and intranet Authentication and Authorization Models using JWT, OAuth and OpenId.
- Strong experience with Golang development.
- Strong experience with Golang development.
Having strong hands on knowlege of Object oriented programming like Java/J2EE on frameworks like spring boot. - Have ability to conceptualize and design enterprise-grade APIs using asynchronous I/O and reactive paradigms like Node.js, Akka or Vertx,Golang, Rust for native systems and open source contributions.
- Understanding of identity authentication and authorization principles using JWT (Json web tokens), OAuth, OIDC etc
- Experience on Broadcom Gateway(Layer7) is a plus.
- Knowledge of existing SAML federation solution and ways to migrate them to the new age OIDC solution.
- Project experience with highly available and strongly consistent databases: traditional or key-value stores.
- Experience with Relational and non-relational databases Oracle, DB2, Postgres, Casandra and mongo.
- Proficient with splunk and Linux/unix technologies.
- BS degree or higher in computer science or related discipline
Functional Skills/Capabilities:
- Expertise in Java/J2EE, Golang, SQl and Non SQL databases
- Code Review and Technical discussion with the team on best solutions possible.
- Hands-on experience with application design, software development, and automated testing
