Senior, Java Governance Analyst

About the Role: As a Java Governance Analyst, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining governance frameworks, standards, and processes related to Java usage within the organization. Your role will ensure compliance, efficiency, and cost control in Java-based initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement governance policies, standards, and best practices related to Java technology
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with organization's governance policies and standards
• Optimize and streamline Java usage across the organization
• Analyze user and license data on a regular basis and prepare management reports
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with Java governance standards
• Identify and highlight non-compliance, and drive required actions to streamline
• Collaborate with development teams to provide governance-related guidance

• Understanding of Java development and architecture
• Knowledge of IT governance principles, compliance frameworks and best practices
• Ability to communicate and influence stakeholders on governance matters
• Proactive approach to driving governance initiatives
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint capability

• Experience in implementing governance tools and processes
• Knowledge of risk management and mitigation in software projects

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Additional certifications in software governance or related areas are advantageous
