(Senior-) Java Performance Engineer (m/f/x)

Your role at Dynatrace

• Performance is key to our success - explore different approaches to tune our product up to the optimal setup.
• As a member of the Cluster Performance Engineering Team you will focus on Dynatrace Platform performance analysis and improvements, identify bottlenecks and resolve them in collaboration with development teams.
• You contribute to non-functional requirements improving the scalability and resilience of the Dynatrace Platform.
• You ensure end-to-end continuous performance test coverage.
• You work with our Site Reliability Engineering colleagues on in-depth-analysis of problems in production and constantly improve our automation framework for performance- and load-testing.

What will help you succeed

• Technical studies related toInformation Technology, Computer Scienceor similar
• Experiencein Java backend software developmentand Linux system engineering with a cloud native mindset
• Expertise with some of the following technologies is beneficial: Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, Gatling, Jenkins
• Basic knowledge of load-testing, performance diagnosis and Java profiling is an advantage. Ideally you have heard about object-churn and heap-dump-analysis
• Passion for performance optimization

1. We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
2. Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 56,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
