Senior Java SDET Engineer in Test

What you will do

• Develop custom automation framework in Java to test backend end application consisting of File based interface;
• Good understanding and implementation of Git practices and branching strategy;
• Mentor and assist with Junior Developers in the team with technical and business domain knowledge;
• Communicate with other stakeholders like Engineering Manager, QA Manager and Product;
• Develop and Schedule Jenkins Pipelines or Gitlab or similar;
• Basic understanding and testing application performance using JMeter or Gatling.

Must haves

• Proficient in developing and maintaining Complex Java based automation frameworks from scratch using design patterns;
• Experience working as Java SDET UI Automation Engineer;
• AWS experience;
• Proficient in designing and maintaining automation solutions to run in Jenkins;
• Proficient in designing test cases from business requirements and technical implementation;
• Developed testing solutions using Risk based approach.

Nice to haves

• Data testing experience;
• Developed Java based concurrent automation frameworks using JSON parsers like GSON/ Jackson.
