Job Description

Job OverviewThe Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with major clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for growth. This role involves working closely with executives and leaders within client organizations in a large or mid-sized market or region. The Key Account Manager will leverage the full range of IQVIA offerings to drive revenue growth and secure new business opportunities.Essential Functions

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact. This involves working with client sales, marketing, commercial, medical, and IT teams.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve or exceed assigned revenue and growth goals within designated accounts or sales territories.
  • Strategic Advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on industry trends and related IQVIA products and services.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with various IQVIA teams, including research, consulting, RWE, and tech, to develop and present solutions to clientsโ€™ complex business challenges.
  • Needs Assessment: Work with clients to understand their needs and combine this understanding with industry trends to propose effective solutions.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business and contract expansion opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Client Representation: Represent IQVIA in all sales-related activities, ensuring client satisfaction with contracted deliverables.
  • Renewals and Subscriptions: Manage renewals and subscriptions effectively, participating in contract renewal efforts as needed.
  • Global Collaboration: Work proactively with global and regional account management teams to pursue multi-country opportunities.
  • Contract Strategy: Take a proactive role in developing contract strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s Degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant sales or account management experience, preferably in solution sales management.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the life sciences and pharmaceutical industry is a must.
  • Language Skills: Arabic is preferred but not required.
