Senior Lead IT Engineering Manager
Job Description
The Senior Lead IT Engineering Manager job manages a team responsible for engineering information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall functioning of the organization's information systems architecture. While establishing operational goals for the team, this job is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's operating systems.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Formulates the engineering approach according to system scope; develops or modifies moderately complex information systems.
- Approves changes to existing system logic difficulties and documentations as necessary.
- Applies information technology (IT) engineering experience to procedures and feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
- Oversees the review of technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of enterprise systems.
- Communicates with team to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.
- Approves corrections based on engineering constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.
- Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and development of team.

Required Skills:
- Experience in migrating applications from an onprem data center to the public cloud environment.
- Experience in implementing cloud migrations leveraging IaaS (Terraform, Cloud Formation).
- Experience with CI / CD tools and optimizing process for application delivery.
Preferred Skills:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders on the strategic vision for the enterprise leveraging cloud, managed solutions, and traditional capabilities.
- Liaises with Senior Leadership on project, operational, and strategy risks and opportunities, along with corrective action plans when required.
- Make recommendations on new solutions and technologies.
- Coaches, mentors, and delegates work to lower-level professionals.
- Understand the platform technology and ensure that all initiatives are aligned with the roadmap as defined by enterprise architecture team.
Base Pay Range: $138,700/yr. - $231,100/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
