Team Description:Â Â
Regional Management Office team works closely with the sales department (Supply Team) to identify and optimize growth opportunities on hotel supply for Agoda. The team is responsible for sales performance and operational efficiency and managing initiatives to measure and implement changes. We collaborate with multiple departments and produce highly visible results backed up by data. Utilizing powerful tools and possessing an end-to-end view of how Agoda works, the Regional Management Office team offers a unique opportunity for anyone who thrives in challenging and fast-paced environments.Â
The Opportunity:Â
As a 'Senior Lead, Regional Management Office', you will be instrumental in helping the Regional VP, Country Directors and Strategy Principal to define and implement country strategies as well as in driving the local implementation of global initiatives and innovations. You will also provide analytical support and strategic advice to Director level to solve complex problems and identify new opportunities.Â
You are an expert at interpreting and actioning strategic business goals. This includes project prioritization and planning as well as setting the relevant KPIs and motivating the team to follow through. You bring analytical acumen coupled with marketplace knowledge and a high level of operational savvy. You have a history of owning projects and are relentless in driving these through to completion.Â
The role is based in Bangkok but you will also have chance to involve in local markets in North Asia (Japan/South Korea) and work closely with Grow and Accelerator Team here (a team dedicated for Agoda’s emerging and high-growth accommodation partners) and other local stakeholders.
In This Role, You’ll Get To:Â
- Support   in regional and global initiativesÂ
- Support Directors in developing and executing country plans/team plans
- KPI planning, implementation and achievementÂ
- Project prioritization and planningÂ
- Develop new tools that contribute to greater productivity and efficiency of your teamÂ
- Support local teams on tools and operations improvementÂ
- Be an ambassador for your countries to other internal teamsÂ
- Interpret and action strategic business goalsÂ
- Report and present to senior managementÂ
What You’ll Need to Succeed:Â
- 5 years operations, strategy or project management experience requiredÂ
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Knowledge and fluency with SQL
- Strong communication skills with fluency in EnglishÂ
- Proven track record in project delivery and managementÂ
- Team player with great collaboration skillsÂ
- Energetic and driven with Professional “get it done” attitudeÂ
- Creative and Innovative, adapts well to and is energized by changeÂ
It's Great if you have:
- Experience in Internet, E-commerce, technology or travel industry experience is a plusÂ
- Experience in Management Consulting is a plusÂ
- Bachelor or equivalent degree required, MBA is a plusÂ
