The Software Developer’s primary responsibility will be to support, enhance and build high-quality enterprise software products. This includes full stack development using Java, Spring Boot, AWS SQS, SNS, RDS (PostgreSQL), Elastic Search, Micro web services, and UI using Javascript and ReactJS.

In this role, you will collaborate with onshore and offshore teams working in an agile environment focused on delivering innovative solutions to our customers. You will participate in hands-on design & development, bug fixing, unit testing, and deployment activities.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of SDLC including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Design, build and maintain high-performing, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Collaborate with the Product team and other stakeholders to develop solutions that meet specific business objectives.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, data modeling, and design
  • Be available as needed to support production deployments.
  • Support, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
  • Be a strong problem solver, demonstrate a willingness to take new initiatives, and possess
  • An excellent work ethic and attitude.
  • Follow team procedures and look for process enhancements and tools to increase the effectiveness of the software engineering team.
  • Evolve as an excellent team player who can contribute individually as well as part of the team.
  • Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Requirements

  • Object-oriented solid programming/coding skills Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong program-solving skills and intimate knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Keen interest or experience in developing scalable analytics applications
  • More than 10 years of application development experience as a software engineer across the following technologies:
  • Java, J2EE, SpringBoot,
  • Full stack development experience using JavaScript and ReactJS
  • Very good experience with RDBMS databases, AWS RDS (PostgreSQL)
  • REST Web API
  • AWS Cloud experience (EC2, S3, IAM, Serverless)
  • AWS API gateway
  • AWS SNS, SQS, Step Functions
  • Experience in version control software, Git, BitBucket, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks with a high level of autonomy.

Bonus Skills:

Flowable, Knowledge of HIPAA, SOX, GDPR
