You will work with both children and adults with varying disabilities, supporting their communication, swallowing, and functional development goals through evidence-based intervention. Accountabilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based speech pathology interventions for children and adults with diverse disabilities.
- Support clients under the NDIS framework to improve communication, functional capacity, and social participation.
- Provide assessment and recommendations for assistive communication technologies where required.
- Manage a varied caseload across telehealth, community-based, and clinic-based service delivery models.
- Deliver timely clinical documentation, progress notes, and formal report writing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, referrers, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
- Work collaboratively across digital platforms and clinical systems to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Contribute to achieving service expectations, including clinical quality standards and workload targets.
- Support knowledge sharing and mentoring within a growing multidisciplinary team.
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or a related field.
- Current professional registration (e.g., Speech Pathology Australia membership or equivalent).
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC/Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Police clearance (including international police check if applicable).
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance.
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment and intervention across paediatric and/or adult populations.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload and competing priorities.
