Senior HR Specialist - Senior Leadership Development Specialist
This position is a key contributor to the Ball Aerospace talent and organization development (T&OD) department. We are looking for an experienced leadership development professional to join our highly skilled and passionate T&OD team. We want someone to join our team who is excited about our purpose of building capability to elevate how business gets done, to promote a connected and inclusive Ball culture, and to ignite a passion for growth and development within our environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Assess, design, facilitate and evaluate leadership-oriented programming and interventions to improve leadership effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple projects associated with leadership development initiatives based on strategic priorities.
  • Recommend, create and deliver engaging and effective learning content, resources and materials for different audiences and learning formats to address business challenges.
  • Coordinate day to day execution of services and offerings in leadership development portfolio.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of development programs through various measurement methods and metrics to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage tools and processes associated with talent management practices to identify and develop leadership bench strength and connect to appropriate leadership development programming.
  • Consult, partner and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, managers, SMEs, and T&OD team members to deliver on development needs and approaches.
  • Stay current in training and development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies and incorporate them into leadership development programming and resources; share this knowledge with others.
  • Collect, analyze, and organize data to support leadership development training sessions.
  • Communicate and promote Talent and Organization Development product and services.
  • Meet criteria required to satisfy periodic internal and external audits.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

What You'll Need:
  • BS/BA in a related field plus 8 or more years related experience.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • Master's degree in HR, training, instructional design, or a related field preferred.
  • 6 or more years of experience in a progressive learning and development environment preferred.
  • Track record in designing and delivering leadership and professional development programs in a variety of subject matter areas, especially team performance, communication, performance management and manager effectiveness.
  • Solid coaching, facilitation, design and development skills; certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with leadership assessment tools.
  • Experience designing and delivering leadership development programs for a variety of levels of management based on the unique needs of those audiences (Supervisor, Manager, Sr Manager, Director).
  • Experience managing a wide range of learning and development projects and programs at a time.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, communication, influence, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Customer service orientation and commitment to quality, responsibility, high work standards and initiative.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and training tools.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
Working Conditions:
  • Ball Aerospace is a drug-free workplace, which is imperative to the health and safety of all employees and is required as a condition of receiving contracts from federal agencies. Please remember that regardless of the legalization of marijuana in Colorado and other states, possession and use continues to be illegal under the federal Controlled Substances Act. This includes the use of some CBD products. A post-offer, pre-employment drug test is a condition of employment.
  • Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

Relocation for this position is not available.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,500 - $136,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
