About the Role:

Trace3 is looking for a passionate Senior Learning and Development specialist to join our People & Organizational Health team. Your primary objective will be to create, coordinate, and implement innovative training solutions that enhance the performance and efficiency of our workforce. This role calls for someone who can drive the growth of our leadership and emerging leaders, by developing manager skills-based learning and spearheading organizational development initiatives. This is an opportunity to shape our company culture, champion technology enhancements, and constantly refine our processes and procedures to offer engaging and effective training sessions.

Following a constructive engagement survey, we recognized opportunities for our managers to further develop their skills and effectiveness in this complex and rapidly evolving business landscape.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Specialist who can execute and expand upon the existing framework. This role presents a unique opportunity for the right individual to shape the trajectory of our first formal non-technical leadership training initiative.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create, develop, implement, and sustain engaging employee and management development programs in a variety of formats including online resources (formal eLearning, videos, etc.), instructor-led courses (in-person, virtual or hybrid), and support resources and reference guides.
  • Construct programs to bolster manager and leadership capabilities.
  • Undertake annual training and development needs assessments and devise strategies to meet the ongoing needs of the company.
  • Craft career development tools for use across various functions and levels.
  • Build and maintain an L&D library of resources and materials.
  • Oversee our Learning Management System to support organizational learning objectives.
  • Schedule and monitor annual training requirements.
  • Liaise with external training providers to deliver specialized training programs.
  • Manage the Learning and Development budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness of training programs.
  • Develop and maintain organizational communications to ensure employees are aware of training and development events and resources.
  • Perform follow-up studies on all completed training to evaluate and measure results.

Qualifications & Interests:

  • At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing learning and development programs.
  • Solid knowledge of instructional design principles and contemporary training techniques.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems, e-learning authoring tools, and webinar platforms.
  • Proficiency in developing PowerPoint designs and presentations.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, capable of engaging various audiences both virtually and in-person.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity in all matters.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize tasks effectively, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong sense of business acumen and the ability to establish rapport, build credibility, and create partnerships at all levels within the company.
  • Comfortable in managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel as required for in-person training sessions.

Location & Work Environment:

  • Work from home
  • Seeking an individual who is able to travel to our offices periodically to conduct in-person training sessions (once every few months)

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
