What you will do

Administer programs used to maintain quality standards of existing products and services. Administer and maintain procedures and methods to check product, material, components and/or operational quality and improve same. Administer and maintain procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations, including standard procedures (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 family of standards), quality audits/review, Taguchi methods, process reengineering, etc..

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with SLMS Shared Services Specialist(s) to assess LMS needs; assist in translating needs into solutions.
  • Provide instruction for local administrators and trainers on the use of learning management system and troubleshooting errors.
  • Communicate system issues affecting the business' ability to conduct and/or document training to drive awareness and timely resolution.
  • Participate in Communities of Practice or tactic teams to share training expertise that drives continual improvement of Stryker training performance and practices.
  • Investigate, or recommend systemic improvements to the LMS.
  • Collaborates with the members of the eSystems team regarding updates/impacts to the LMS.
  • Contribute to the development of optimum future state of LMS.
  • Understands system integration and their impact on SLMS Shared Services processes.
  • Contribute to the improvements of policies and procedures as they relate to the LMS.
  • Empower key stakeholders on their responsibilities within the training process, provide tools and resources to enable and sustain their success.
  • Identify improvements and inputs into the LMS and its related functions.
  • Investigate and address requests from the business to document training records, support troubleshooting of courses in the LMS.
  • Partner with LMS Specialist(s) to identify, assess and implement changes to ticketing and triaging processes.
  • Perform additional duties and projects, as assigned.

What you need

  • High School or GED Required
  • Associate's degree in the area of Business, Training & Development, Education, Quality, or Human Resources related discipline (preferred).
  • 3+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience in learning management role or equivalent preferred.
