Overview of Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Counsel to join our dynamic operations team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and guidance across various areas of law, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk for the company. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance: Advise senior management and other stakeholders on legal matters relating to the company's operations, including contract drafting and review, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and risk management.
• Draft and review legal documents: Prepare, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures.
• Manage legal disputes: Oversee and manage any legal disputes involving the company, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance: Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations, and ensure that the company's operations are in compliance.
• Conduct legal research: Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues.
• Represent the company in legal matters: Represent the company in negotiations, meetings, and other legal proceedings.

Qualifications

• Education: Law degree from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, preferably in a corporate or commercial law setting.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
