The Opportunity

Adobe is seeking a hardworking and upbeat attorney to provide legal support for Adobe Acrobat Sign engineering, marketing and sales teams. Adobe Acrobat Sign includes leading signature solutions that help customers turn manual document processes into efficient digital ones. This position will support clients defining, promoting and evangelizing global electronic signature solutions. This full-time position may work from any of our regional offices or even remotely.

What you'll Do

• Support the Sales by responding to Acrobat Sign inquiries regarding the legality of e-signatures on a global basis
• Drive creation of promotional content that educates customers and partners on use of Acrobat Sign to meet global e-signature laws
• Evangelize Acrobat Sign features and capabilities both internally and externally through trade and industry events and organizations
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to define, design, develop and launch new e-signature features and capabilities
• Provide product counsel and compliance support for e-signature features
• Collaborate with government relations to analyze and influence e-signature legislation
• Keep abreast of the rapidly changing industry and legal landscape related to issues associated with e-signatures and electronic contracting

What you need to succeed

• J.D. from an accredited law school and necessary bar membership
• A minimum of 10+ years of relevant legal experience (e.g., software licensing, supporting clients in the cloud-based services industry, supporting product development)
• Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Significant experience and expertise regarding legality of e-signatures
• Technical background or a geek-level curiosity about e-signature and identity technologies
• Commitment to providing clients with high-quality and timely legal advice
• Proven creative problem-solving capabilities, good business instincts and the ability to apply common sense to both practical and theoretical advice
• Proven ability to successfully balance and prioritize competing projects/demands
