RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with a broad range of Web 3 matters.
• Provide legal guidance regarding matters related to commodities, securities, US policy, contracts, and corporate governance.
• Perform legal research on regulatory issues and remain up-to-date on developments in decentralized finance
• Assist the General Counsel in implementing, operating, and enhancing policies, processes and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• JD degree and active law license in good standing
• 4+ years of experience at a law firm and/or in-house
• Strong interest in cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance
• Experience with laws and regulations related to SEC, CFTC, FINCen
• Ability to take ownership of projects and make actionable recommendations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize matters
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness
• Attention to detail
• Excellent collaborator

NICE TO HAVES:

• Experience with legal regimes applicable to crypto
• Prior experience with technology companies
