Senior Level HVAC Technician

We are a commercial / light industrial HVAC contractor looking for a Senior Level HVAC Technician to perform inspections, start-ups, troubleshooting of high-level equipment failures, warranty calls and assist staff technicians. Essential Duties • Diagnoses HVAC system performance through observation, troubleshooting and setup of equipment including split system, mini split systems/VRVs, RTU, Chillers, Boilers, Pumps, Refrigeration equipment, shop heaters, AHUs and EFs. • Perform start-ups of newly installed or retrofitted equipment and document procedures. • Perform warranty calls in a professional to maintain positive relationship with customers and document the failure and corrective measure. • Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment. • Programming of controllers through app-based systems. • Performs disassembly and reassembly of large or small industrial/commercial HVAC equipment. • Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction. • Participates in technician on-call-stand-by rotation as dictated by business unit policies and procedures. • Safely drives a motor vehicle as evidenced by past driving performance record. • Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle. • Great team player and mentor to younger techs and apprentices. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED is required. Technical degree or diploma in related field is preferred. EPA License Must possess required registrations, professional licenses and/or certifications as required by the position. 5 plus years of experience as a HVAC Technician.
