The Crown Is Yours
As a Senior Licensing Associate on our Global Compliance & Risk Team, you'll play a vital role in expanding licensing and registration activities for DraftKings. Working closely with the corporate licensing team, you'll prepare entity applications, facilitate renewals, and maintain crucial license information. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders, communicate with external partners and regulators, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our compliance initiatives.
What you'll do as a Senior Licensing Associate
- Support our global licensing program by working with the corporate licensing team to prepare entity applications for both initial entry and renewal filings across all verticals.
- Maintain the database of current license fees, renewal dates, and license information.
- Initiate, plan, and execute assigned projects for Entity Licensing, defining goals and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Work with internal business partners to draft responses to questions on licensing applications.
- Develop and maintain an efficient filing system that reflects accurate completed license applications.
- Communicate effectively with internal business partners, outside counsel, and regulators by providing periodic updates regarding license status.
- Research licensing requirements through regulation review.
- Apply problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges, adapting project plans as necessary to achieve results.
- Monitor project progress to keep projects on track.
- Document processes and procedures.
What you'll bring
- At least 2 years of experience in Administration, Compliance, Risk Management, Human Resources, Legal, or Gaming.
- Track record of learning, understanding, and interpreting new laws, rules, and regulations.
- Proven ability to balance multiple competing priorities and changes in scope or direction.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with superb attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe products.
- Paralegal experience is strongly preferred.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $61,600.00 - $92,400.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
