Senior Linguist_CAT III - Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Persian/Farsi, Russian

Core One is currently seeking a Senior Linguist_CAT III - Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Persian/Farsi, and Russian to support our Intelligence Community customer.

**THIS POSITION REQUIRES A CURRENT TS/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH CLEARANCE**

Responsibilities:

• Performs full range of activities in processing material or participating in situations requiring an advanced professional capability (level 4 - 4+ for translation or interpretation on ILR scale)
• Responsible for using translation methodology to translate a wide variety of complex texts that contain difficult, abstract, idiomatic, highly technical, and colloquial writing.

Requirements:

• ACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph
• ILR Level 4-4+ for Translation or Interpretation is required in one of the following languages:  Arabic (Modern Standard and all Dialects), Chinese-Cantonese, Chinese-Mandarin (all dialects), Chinese-Shanghai/Wu, Chinese-Fukien/Taiwanese, Korean, Persian/Farsi, Russian
• Must be able to successfully apply a translation methodology to translate a wide variety of complex texts that contain difficult, abstract, idiomatic, highly technical, and colloquial writing
