GENERAL FUNCTION:
Manage assigned Lockbox Team within the Operations Division, ensuring that employees, equipment, and materials are managed properly to maximize productivity and to exceed quality standards. Team under management consists of a mid to large-sized group of non-exempt staff. Responsible for leading exempt level leadership.
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for a team representing 70-100 employees across one shift.
- Plan, assign, and monitor the workflow of a group of employees within assigned functional area, maintaining optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness while ensuring that production and quality standards are met and maintained.
- Ensure deadlines are met in accordance with the client guidelines.
- Ensure employees are adequately trained and staffing levels meet forecasted volumes.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of both shift and employee activity.
- Responsible for administrative tasks and day-to-day management of both offshore and onshore contractor base.
- Lead and/or play an active role in Bancorp projects with high level of visibility and large scope.
- Troubleshoot both client and employee concerns within assigned Lockbox team, referring the most complex problems to Area Manager.
- Manage equipment maintenance and partner with internal and external partners for technical support.
- Ensure teams execute and support the implementation of strategic Bancorp Lockbox initiatives.
- Oversight of internal audit to ensure all risk associated with Lockbox processing is properly identified and mitigated through the implementation of Lockbox procedures and controls.
- Partner with Commercial Treasury Management to resolve customer issues and enhance Lockbox processing.
- Drive quality and continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma principles and automation.
- Review area operational procedures, making recommendations to improve productivity and quality.
- Conduct internal and external client tours and site visits as applicable.
- Perform all work in accordance with established health and safety procedures.
- Ensure all responsible vendors and sourcing providers meet expected performance and contractual obligations.
- Must have the ability to participate and present at senior manager meetings, and with internal and external partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for providing employees timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Five or more years of Operations or related experience required.
- Three to five years of previous leadership experience.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills required to communicate with all levels of organization.
- Proficient experience with Microsoft office products, such as Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, presenting a professional image and securing the respect of staff, peers, vendors, and senior management.
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and must be able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Must have flexibility in scheduling.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Normal office environment with exposure to dust, noise, temperature, and the like.
- Extended viewing of CRT screen.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds occasionally.
