Senior Logistics Implementation & Ramp-Up Manager (all genders)

As a Senior Implementation & Ramp-Up Manager (all genders), you'll ensure our logistics network meets growth demands by delivering new warehouses on time. This includes managing User Acceptance Tests, reviewing software specs, and defining processes for new automation technologies. With strong project management skills, you proactively address challenges and risks. You'll play a key role in Zalando's growth across multiple European sites, contributing to strategic planning projects with senior management and working with cutting-edge logistics software and automation technology.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

• Manage, plan, execute and report ongoing ramp ups (all stages from process design, UATs and implementation to ramped up state)

• Contributing to the process development of how we ramp up sites including standardised documentation, mitigation measures, escalation process and stakeholder management

• Ensuring the delivered products are fitting to the operational needs and are supporting the sites in the best possible way. In addition, ensuring smooth implementations, focussing on the customer (Operations and End Customer)

• Utilising strong Logistics knowledge and project management skills to deliver implementation projects on time and to a high quality

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Logistics background (4- 5 years) including software and automation technology and the connected implementation processes

• Highly structured and organised way of working which includes an unmatched level of documentation, attention to detail and transparency

• Process driven and always seeking for efficiency improvements (logistic processes, software, automation technology).

• Strong communication skills, ability to fluently communicate in English at different levels. Knowledge of German, French and other European languages would be highly appreciated.
