Senior Low-Code Architect

This role sits at the intersection of software architecture, digital transformation, and low-code innovation, where you will shape scalable enterprise solutions using modern platforms, with a strong focus on Mendix. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to translate complex business needs into robust, future-ready applications. Acting as both architect and advisor, you will define integration strategies, ensure alignment with broader IT ecosystems, and guide technical teams in delivering high-quality solutions. The environment is highly collaborative and international, with exposure to regulated industries such as finance and healthcare. You will also play a key role in driving innovation by evaluating emerging low-code technologies and shaping architectural standards. This is a strategic and hands-on position where your expertise directly influences product delivery, client success, and long-term digital transformation outcomes.

• Lead the design and architecture of low-code solutions, with a strong focus on Mendix, ensuring alignment with enterprise software architecture standards.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify low-code opportunities, and define integration needs.
• Design and implement scalable and secure architectures integrating low-code platforms with existing systems and external APIs.
• Act as a technical advisor to project teams, promoting best practices, architectural patterns, and efficient low-code development approaches.
• Explore and evaluate emerging low-code technologies and frameworks to enhance solution capabilities and innovation potential.
• Work closely with developers, analysts, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions within scope, time, and budget.
• Mentor and coach development teams to strengthen low-code expertise and architectural maturity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on scalable enterprise systems.
• Proven expertise in designing and delivering complex solutions using low-code platforms, especially Mendix.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and system integration approaches.
• Solid experience with APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, ESB, and API gateways.
• Ability to integrate low-code platforms with legacy systems and diverse enterprise environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in international environments.
• Fluent German (mandatory) and English (C1 or higher).
• Ability to work on-site at client locations when required, combined with strong collaboration skills in hybrid setups.
