Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Location Details: Remote, India

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

If you have a strong curiosity about machine learning and a desire to impact millions of small businesses, consider joining GoDaddy's Data and Artificial Intelligence team as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced machine learning models for Pricing and Generative AI initiatives. Build APIs to deliver predictions to our customers in real-time and in batch modes. You will work closely with ML scientists to develop complex ML pipelines to solve high-impact problems. You will also collaborate with other platform teams will be vital to guarantee the efficiency and dependability of our ML solutions!

What you'll get to do...

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for Pricing and Generative AI projects using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other ML frameworks
• Build APIs to serve predictions to our customers in real-time and in batch modes, using AWS, Docker and other cloud technologies
• Monitor, fix, and optimise the performance, accuracy, and reliability of our ML solutions using logging, metrics, and dashboards
• Collaborate with other platform teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our ML solutions
• Research and evaluate new ML techniques and technologies to improve our existing solutions and explore new opportunities
• Mentor junior machine learning engineers and provide technical mentorship and feedback
• Establish standard methodologies for ML model development and deployment

Your experience should include...

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or related roles
• Proficient in Python and familiarity with another programming language like JavaScript
• Experience in building, deploying, and monitoring ML models in production using AWS ecosystem, especially ML related services such as Sagemaker
• Experience in building and maintaining APIs for ML model serving using tools such as Flask, FastAPI, Django, etc
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multi-functional teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in writing unit tests, integration tests, and documentation for ML code
• Experience with software engineering standard processes, such as version control, code review, CI/CD, etc

You might also have...

• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, tools, and techniques, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, etc
• Experience in working with large-scale and complex data sets
• Experience in applying machine learning to domains such as e-commerce, finance, health care, etc
• Experience in using ML tools such as Mlflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, etc. for model lifecycle management
• Experience with common ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn
• Experience in conducting ML experiments and analysis using tools such as Jupyter, Colab, etc
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and large language models (LLM) is a plus
