As a Senior Magento Developer, you will play a pivotal role in scaling and optimizing a high-traffic e-commerce platform for a fast-growing, technology-driven company. You will take ownership of custom Magento modules, integrations, and the overall architecture, ensuring code quality, performance, and security. Collaborating closely with product and development teams, you will provide technical guidance, implement best practices, and drive innovations that enhance the customer experience. This role offers an entrepreneurial environment where you can influence key technical decisions, experiment with new approaches, and contribute directly to business growth. You will also mentor team members and lead by example in building scalable, maintainable solutions.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the primary Magento development lead, owning custom modules, integrations, and the architecture.
  • Ensure the codebase is secure, optimized, and follows best design and development practices.
  • Review code from other developers and third-party providers, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Advise product teams on technical implementation strategies for new functionalities.
  • Manage code deployment pipelines and automation tools, addressing performance bottlenecks and production issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions that align with business goals.
  • Mentor and guide developers to ensure consistency, knowledge sharing, and alignment on technical approaches.
  • Requirements:

    • 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years specializing in Magento.
    • Proven experience building custom modules and integrating third-party services (e.g., PSPs, shipping platforms).
    • Strong understanding of code deployment pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, AWS CodeDeploy).
    • Familiarity with DevOps tasks, including performance monitoring, log analysis, and system security.
    • Experience leading technical teams in e-commerce or similar fast-paced environments.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
    • Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
