Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Mainframe Developer to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are looking for an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the ideal opportunity for you!

Note: Candidate needs to be at Charlotte, NC office

Roles & Responsibilities: Cognizant wants a Senior Mainframe Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You'll be part of a multi-functional team that's responsible for the full software creation process, from conception to deployment. • Must be good technical hands on MF person with skills in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM & CA7 • Experienced in Mainframe Environment set up from Scratch (backup from Production) • Should be able to coordinate with offshore team members for queries/issues/clarifications. • Should have strong communication skills to communicate with IT Operations team in onsite • Should help the team on any debugging in batches • Change the configuration, runtime and optimizing the batches if needed
