Senior Manager, Accounting

The Senior Manager of Technical Accounting will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of the Company's accounting policy, procedure and/or position on a range of accounting topics, including the implementation and compliance with new accounting standards. This position will require frequent interaction with senior leadership across the organization to support transactions and strategic initiatives.

• Implement new accounting standards and train personnel
• Interact with, coordinate, and lead auditor discussions

Client:

• Support mergers and acquisitions, including diligence and purchase price allocations

Value:

• Aid in the preparation and review of external and internal financial reports
• Document and present complex accounting matters
• Help identify, assess, and implement internal controls and process improvements
• Complete analysis associated with specific transactions
• Assist with the financial close, US and statutory audits and filings, covenant compliance and strategic initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

A minimum of 8+ years of experience in public accounting or other similar broad technical accounting related roles. Public company and/or IPO experience a plus.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Candidate must have a strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting. Experience should include advanced accounting concepts such as revenue recognition, business combinations and stock-based compensation.

Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain internal / external relationships.

Must be a self-starter with excellent time, project management, and follow-through skills.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be highly proficient with MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Certificates and Licenses:

Actively licensed CPA required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The position does not currently have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

• Standard indoor working environment.
• Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
• Independent travel requirement: None.
• Overtime required as necessary (weekend/evening availability).
