Maesa is currently seeking an individual to join our Finance team as the Senior Manager of Accounts Payable. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for managing the payment and disbursement functions while partnering with cross functional teams and ensuring compliance with the Company’s guidelines and policies.  
The candidate will supervise a team to ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices, timely reconciliation in the 3-way match process and ensure alignment of open payable balances with our vendors.  As a specialist in the field, the Senior Manager- Accounts Payable will be the expert in an evolving accounts payable process with ERP system upgrades, and implementation of an automated P2P platform.

This role will also require managing sales and marketing-related payables, serving as the key point of contact between cross functional teams and the accounts payable function.

The role will report to the Director of Accounting Operations, and work closely with other key finance team members.
Pay Range: $95,000/yr - $115,000/yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. 

Core Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing automated P2P system; including monitoring transaction flow, team activities, and integrity of master data.
• Manage vendor master data, including compliance with new vendor set up processes and internal control policies.
• Support month-end closing procedures and reconciliation of accounts payable and related accounts; including unvouchered receipts, in-transit and advanced deposits to vendors.
• Supervision and mentoring of direct reports; including review of work to ensure that invoices and payments are appropriately recorded.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounts payable and P2P activities, with at least 4 years of supervisory or management experience
• Experience with P2P transition or implementation a plus
• Ability to manage ERP system activities related to accounts payable, with Epicor experience a strong plus
• Ability to communicate clearly to team members whom will need guidance in a changing, demanding environment
• Strong organizational/time management skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership of the accounts payable function at Maesa
• Strong oral and written presentation skills
• Interest in working in a fast-paced growth environment
• Excellent team-work skills
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel required
• Experience in beauty and fashion industries or CPG experience a plus
