Cox Communications is currently seeking highly talented individuals to join our dynamic MarTech team, which forms an integral part of our rapidly expanding Marketing Operations organization. The Senior Manager, Advertising Technology will be responsible for technology solutions to support the performance, tracking and measurement of paid media and SEM. This role will be responsible for the MarTech roadmap for digital media and partnering with/or managing technology platforms that support SEM and media such as GA4, Tealium, Salesforce, Adobe.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Google/Amazon platforms, tagging and measurement platforms, testing new targeting tools, website structure/tagging, clean rooms, and more.
This person will function as an expert on targeting and measurement methodology and platforms for the internal media team as well as liaison with technology and other internal teams on larger technology solutions and APIs.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a direct report while overseeing the relationships with our agency and vendors, ensuring efficient and effective collaborations.

What You'll Do
  • Define data requirements in collaboration with digital, marketing, and external teams
  • Manage timelines and milestones for solution implementations, launches, and QA
  • Function as martech / adtech subject matter expert in cross functional teams
  • Analyze/understand Cox audiences and partner methodology for targeting and retargeting
  • Set up and manage prospect and customer list
  • Oversee 3rd party data onboarding efforts with technology platforms
  • Responsible for daily maintenance and set up of segment logic, defining offline to online capabilities with segments, and integration with other martech data stacks
  • Manage all direct database match efforts including list pulls and match rates by partner (Google, Amazon, and Meta)
  • Own data governance and compliance process for digital media.
  • Be liaison into IT and Consumer Analytics team on larger media projects.
  • Coordinate media data and online data transfers to/from Cox's Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Cox.com and media tagging and set up via tag management system (Tealium)
  • Retarget logic set up and maintenance across media partners and integration into Cox's Lead Gen system
  • Vet new technology solutions such as clean rooms, Google privacy sandbox, M1 targeting platform, and more.
  • Research trends and stay on top of industry benchmarks.

Who You Are
Minimum
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, etc) and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field
  • Experience with data management platforms, 3rd party data onboarding solutions, and direct database management synchronizations
  • Experience setting up/managing new technology stacks that integrate with incumbent toolsets and operations and/or be completely new to the ecosystem
  • Experience with new technology solutions post privacy regulation such as clean rooms, new measurement platforms, and Google platforms.
  • Experience and familiarity with Multi Touch Attribution, Media Mix Modeling, Tag Management Systems, and Dynamic Creative Toolsets
  • Ability to manage multiple agency and media partners
  • Experience with website design and user experience flows
  • Experience and thorough understanding of online marketing tactics and KPIs (paid search, digital display, remarketing, video pre-roll/broadband tv, paid social media)
  • Agency and outside technology vendor management
  • Strong sales/marketing relationship building skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Track record of driving increased results performance
  • Excellent communication and people skills

Preferred
  • Degree in related discipline strongly desired (analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field)
  • Knowledge of MarTech and industry best practices/standards
  • Business analytics. Understands numbers, trends, A/B testing, making sense of data.

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Working knowledge of and experience in Google Ads Platform, DV360 (Display & Video), SA360 (Search Ads), GA4, Amazon Ads, Tealium
