I. Job Summary
Oversees the planning, development, completion of multiple large and complex digital and analytical products and projects and assumes responsibility for custom software development projects, implementation of out of the box solutions, and enhancements to existing software products. Works in a matrixed environment and will lead a diverse set of technology resources for the duration of the project or product lifecycle.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Establishes strategic plans and objectives aligning with organizational priorities and goals
- Directs the efforts of high performing agile teams in the design, development, implementation, and support of various digital, analytics systems products and/or projects
- Creates and/or approves product and project plans and application designs to ensure projects are aligned with standards and IT strategy. Approves standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provides expert technical and functional leadership and problem resolution to teams.
- Has a strong people first mindset, acts as, team leader and/or establishes and communicates common goals and direction for the agile product teams.
- Mentors and fosters growth of peers, team members, and fosters innovative culture and mindset
- Partners and Cooordinates with other managers, departments to ensure and drive alignment to drive value by developing, integrating analytical products with applications and/or initiatives to drive value
- Assigns and reviews work. Allocates appropriate resources to ensure that project and products are completed within committed time and budget and are integrated with other digital products and business processes
- Maintains working relationship and coordinates with several teams to integrate project with applications and/or initiatives.
- Coordinates communication about project status to all levels of the organization.
- Prepares and/or provides budget input for ongoing and future expenditures, monitors budget performance, and provides forecasts. Monitors departmental performance against budget.
- III. Supervisory Responsibilities
The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is management through one or more managerial levels. This includes:
Direct supervision of full-time employees including management, team leads and individual contributor positions;
May have indirect supervision of other full-time management and/or individual contributor positions.
IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelors Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: Eight years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

- Cloud/AWS Technology Certifications
- Technolofy Development/Software Programming Certifications (Java, Python, Big Data)
- Product Development/Product Management Certifications
- One or more of SAFe certifications
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
- Experience leading technical teams in software and/or analytical product engineering
- Knowledge and Experience in analytical product development,
- Technical skills/ Hands on programming background including native cloud computing, large databases.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to present, communicate and articulate complex information to all levels of the organization (including technical and non-technical audiences, Senior Leadership and Executive Leadership).
- Committed and highly motivated team player.
- Ability to demonstrate a customer service and customer focused mindset.
- Understanding all aspects of the IT Governance and reporting.
- Product management, Project planning and budgeting.
- Knowledge of regulatory processes and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance.
- Contract management and procurement
- May require advanced skills in one or more of the following:
- Written and verbal communication skills as well as listening skills.
- Successfully leading a products, project teams reach its business objectives within set timeframes.
