Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage more complex accounting engagements within budget (includes developing a project/audit budget) and deadline expectations
  • Manage expectations with engagement teams and clients through clear communication
  • Manage multiple concurrent accounting engagements within budget and on scheduled deadlines.
  • Continue advancement in technical audit and accounting capabilities and "soft skill" competencies.
  • Identify, respond to, and resolve client issues working directly with client, or in collaboration with other team members.
  • Manage, supervise, train, and lead staff through counsel, guidance, and coaching.
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities by participating in business/personal developments efforts working collaboratively others.
  • Perform and support client billing

Qualifications:
  • CPA License Required
  • At least 7 years of experience in public accounting auditing work, preferably with an industry alignment
  • Ability to travel as needed based on client assignments
  • Experience working independently on multiple assignments or engagements, including in a virtual environment
  • Management and/or mentoring experience with other staff members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
