General Summary
The Sr Manager of Brand Marketing will lead efforts to build awareness and shape the narrative of both the Neuro and Vascular franchises. This leader will develop and execute the brand and communications strategy for the Neuro and Vascular franchises while working with Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Creative, other parts of the organization to establish brand awareness as the global leader in mechanical thrombectomy technologies.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement brand and communication strategy that drives growth, awareness, and increased brand recognition.
• Create and implement an integrated brand awareness plan to further advance the visibility of Penumbra’s global leadership position in mechanical thrombectomy to key stakeholder audiences.
• Co-create messaging and content with Product Management and Marketing Communications designed to showcase and strengthen Penumbra’s leadership position in both the relevant Neuro and Vascular disease states.
• Partner with Product Management and Marketing Communications on the mechanical thrombectomy creative and strategic social content direction and online properties.
• Ensure consistent framing of messages across digital and social media communications, advertising, and events.
• Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures. *
• Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company. *
• Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures. *
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications
Minimum education and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field with 5 + years of experience in healthcare related business activities such as brand marketing, communications, sales or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional qualifications:
• Knowledge of medical device / pharma adverting, and promotion regulations gained while working in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industry.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to quickly compose and edit a variety of creative and business-oriented texts that reflect Penumbra brand voice while on a deadline.
• Ability to work with other teams and functions to complement and support each other’s work and objectives.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously with full workload.
• Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment.
Working Conditions
• General office environment. Upon manager’s discretion, this position can be remote. Employee must reside in North America.
• Business travel up to 40% of the time and, on occasion, work long or unplanned hours on weekends and holidays.
• Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to move between buildings and floors.
• Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day.
• Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets.
• Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed.
• Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
Annual Base Salary Range: $140,000- $180,000

Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
