Senior Manager, Business Development
Job Description
The Senior Manager of Business Development will lead a team managers who in turn, lead teams of 8-12 BDRs to generate pipeline for Account Executives aligned to produce new and expand billings within our multi-product offerings. You will align with Sales Leaders supporting specific groups and segments, while working with Marketing partners to utilize Marketing Campaigns to produce the pipeline needed.

What you'll own:
- Responsible for and accountable to the recruiting, training, development, progression, mentorship, and delivery of individual managers and BDRs on your team
- Conducting regular team meetings and 1:1s- including a recap of the team's results and celebrating success and holding all accountable for daily performance
- Evaluation and evolution of the current systems, strategies, and messages of the team.
- Support the Revenue and GTM partners in their campaigns to achieve company success
Experience you'll need:
- Validated experience in recruiting, building, and leading top-performing Business Development teams - including the ability to train, mentor and motivate
- Ability to lead in the moment; providing immediate feedback and mentoring with the appropriate approach
- Strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to synthesize complex business challenges and create clear solutions and messages for audiences at various levels of sophistication
- Servant leader and teammate, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate and react to changes in a constantly evolving environment
- Consistent record of outstanding success in sales, marketing, business development, top of the funnel, and leadership
- Strong track record of recruiting, training/developing and retaining hard-working sales talent
- Ability to listen, think logically, strategically, and tactically to solve complex problems
- Strong operational and analytical abilities
- 3+ years of experience leading a successful B2B inside sales team as a Manager
