Position:                    Senior Manager, Business Intelligence

Responsibilities:       Lead a team that manages Business Intelligence across the organization from strategy to implementation to reporting. Define strategy, best practices, and the roadmap for Business Intelligence at AXS. Work across functions in the organization and with clients and partners to understand and address their data and analysis needs. Work closely with Product, Partnerships, and Marketing at AXS and with clients such as venues, teams and/or promoters. Provide thought leadership in defining models such as marketing attribution, funnels, and customer affinity. Drive complex problems through to solutions. Provide analysis and data-driven recommendations to AXS leadership, clients, and partners. Work with Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering to understand and guide the data underlying AXS metrics. Work between clients and the Data Science team to help them apply and iterate on models. Oversee data analysis, interpretation and reporting activities. Define new actionable opportunities. Identify and evaluate collaboration with AXS clients. The position is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. Position manages 3 employees: Data Analyst (2) and Senior Data Analyst (1).

Educ./experience:    Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Sports Management, Business Intelligence, or a related field and two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Director of Business Intelligence within the sports entertainment field. Experience must include building and managing business intelligence systems, LookML, SQL, DBT, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, Heap, and Amplitude.

Salary:                                    $137,000 per year ($130,000 to $150,000)
