Role Purpose: Reporting to the Senior Director of Integrated media, the Senior Manager of Business Operations is responsible for empowering and enabling the Agency and Client Teams to operate with excellence. This leader will lead a small team and will be the lynchpin in our operating model creating best in class partnerships with our clients, and both client and internal cross functional partners including Finance, Analytics, Media and Client Strategy. General Description:
This role leads the production of cross-media projects of medium size or complexity and is ultimately responsible for the on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality deliverables that power client satisfaction and meet business requirements for a large retail client.
- Define and lead project scopes, timelines and budgets in close collaboration with project teams; track and report on progress against schedules and budgets and ensure team adheres to project scopes
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project timelines across all client teams
- Collaborate across disciplines to create and manage master project plans and timelines; real-time adjustment of project plans as necessary to address issues as they arise, projecting and escalating risks to delivery
- Communicate project status updates to clients via weekly calls, emails, and in-person meetings
- Works hand-in-hand with Media Strategy to ensure timely and accurate client documentation and communication of client feedback to the internal team. Presents complex data or messages in a clear, succinct, compelling manner
- Run effective meetings establishing objective and intended outcomes, proper participants and then creating an environment that delivers against the objectives
- Responsible for end-to-end management of monthly billing and POs across all media channels internally and externally with the client
- Develops strong and positive working relationships with other disciplines and project stakeholders; strong project team manager, motivating project teams to excel, while supporting their various work streams to ensure adherence to objectives, process, and timelines
- Provide thought leadership on opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Drive Business Planning for the Team including planning processes, planning communications, budget construction, business case construction and create connectivity with finance, HR, analytics, and commercial teams to integrate marketing planning and forecasting processes with the rest of the business.
- Build and drive the operating cadences for the client,, Marketing Leadership Team and the Marketing Team. Coordinate and streamline required inputs for presentations, lead presentation formats for executive forums and drive consistency and impact in how the Marketing Team shows up in internal forums.

Requisite Experience:
- Marketing Leader with 6+ years’ experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in digital media project management and with media teams a plus
- Experience leading medium to large-sized projects and supporting senior team members on large projects and client engagements
- Demonstrates critical and strategic thinking skills and is solution-oriented and flexible in their approach
- Strong presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint and/or Keynote
- Self-motivated and like to learn new tools and technology
- Experience with project management tools strongly preferred (Airtable, Asana, Trello, Wrike, Basecamp, etc)
- Track record in building and scaling Marketing capabilities or capabilities for a Marketing Team
- Operational experience in managing budgets and forecasts
- Builder and driver of change management in a fast paced and dynamic organization
- Program leadership and program management experience
- Track record in outstanding business partnering
- Experience in delivering for Executive Level Leaders, and communications for Exec Level Leaders
- Proven team transformation experience in hiring, retaining and coaching a team for peak performance
- Agency or Retail experience highly valued
