Senior Manager - Cloud & IT Infrastructure (Consulting)

West Monroe is hiring a Senior Manager (Cloud Computing/IT) for our growing Enterprise Technology consulting practice! The senior manager will lead cross-functional teams in the design, engineering, and deployment of cutting-edge cloud & IT infrastructure solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join an employee-centric firm and manage the digital transformation of complex IT environments within key industry verticals such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Private Equity, Energy & Utilities, and High-Tech & Software.

Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                        

• Manage cross-functional consulting teams and act as engagement POC for client leadership, ensuring delivery of secure cloud & IT infrastructure solutions that improve business operations
• Lead interviews with stakeholders, assess current state IT environment/processes, identify critical requirements, and present solutions/strategies to client executives
• Review/QA cloud migration plans and implementation strategies to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements
• Make key decisions regarding project direction including budgeting, vendor selections, staffing, consultant workstreams, methodologies, etc.
• Act as career advisor for junior consultants and assist in furthering their understanding of cloud computing & IT infrastructure best practices
• Stay abreast of industry advancements and assess viability of emerging technology solutions
• Leverage network of existing relationships to seek out new client engagements and contribute to business development process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required
• Consulting firm/industry experience preferred
• 10-20+ years of experience in IT leadership and/or architecture focused on cloud computing (required), Windows/Linux systems, servers & virtualization, networking, and/or security
• Experience leading AWS, Azure, and/or GCP ‘on-prem to cloud’ migration projects
• Experience project managing end-to-end technology initiatives: solution strategy/roadmap development, design, build, deployment, change management, etc.
• Adept communication (written/verbal), presentation, client management, and team leadership skills
• Willingness to travel for out of town client engagements – COVID-19 permitting
