Why this role 

As part of our People team, the Senior Manager of Total Rewards will play a key role in planning and executing all compensation, recognition, and benefits initiatives and programs. Your focus will be on offering a positive Evolver Experience through the lens of total rewards while ensuring the team is efficient and effective. You will ensure Evolve stays compliant with all compensation and benefits programs, including government filings, financial controls, and federal and state regulations. You will lead the communications strategy and execution for ongoing program and wellness offerings, and lead the annual Open Enrollment process. What you’ll do 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of broad based compensation, recognition, benefits, and leaves offerings at Evolve that supports durable growth and improves operational efficiency
  • Lead the compensation and benefits team, ensuring each teammate is coached and developed to reach their full potential
  • Assist the Director of Total Rewards with annual plan renewals and RFPs alongside our benefits broker
  • Create sound working relationships with PBPs and business leaders to build trust and create effective collaboration
  • Lead key broad based compensation and benefits projects, including annual comp structure reviews, annual merit process, and the implementation of new programs
  • Responsible for leading a successful Open Enrollment process annually, including system setups, Evolver communications, vendor management, fairs, and accuracy of enrollments
  • Oversee Evolve’s wellness program and create Evolve’s annual wellness strategy and budget
  • Ensure Evolve’s compliance with all compensation and benefits government filing and audits, including the annual 401(k) audit, ACA filings, non-discrimination testings, 5500s, fair pay audits, and keeping Evolve up to date on all changes in regulations.
  • Create the communication strategy for all total rewards programs to keep Evolvers educated and excited about their total rewards offerings
  • Oversee the leaves function and make sound decisions around complicated ADA situations

What makes you a great fit

  • 8+ years of benefits and broad-based compensation experience
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience in total rewards
  • In-depth knowledge of all health and welfare benefits and associated processes, procedures, and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation market pricing, job slotting, structure knowledge, and giving compensation recommendations
  • Strong project management skills and ability to hold team accountable to deadlines and commitments
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on consistent and timely follow-up and follow-through with business stakeholders
  • An unparalleled sense of urgency and commitment to getting stuff done without sacrificing quality or experience
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple competing priorities while continuing to advance critical initiatives
  • An ability to gain trust through effective communication and doing what you say you will do
  • A reputation for discretion, integrity, judgment, responsiveness, strong attention to detail and common sense
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver insights

Preferred but not required 

  • PHR, SHRM-CP or CCP
  • Hospitality or Tech industry experience is a plus

Location 

We currently are able to hire throughout the U.S except in the following states: California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico and Pennsylvania. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both!

Compensation

For this role our salary range is $138,000-$159,000, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
