What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a highly motivated communications expert to join our growing team. Authentic’s PR and Communications group leads the development and implementation of integrated corporate and brand communication strategies that drive relevancy and growth on a global scale. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Corporate Communications, you’ll be collaborating with a world-class team and network of industry partners to create and disseminate original editorial, newsletter and social media features to engage current and new audiences across Authentic’s corporate channels.  What you’ll be working on

  • Partner with Sr. Director of Corporate Communications on the global storytelling around Authentic Brands Group and its multi-faceted brand platform
  • Oversee workflow of the Corporate Communications Manager and Corporate Communications Coordinator
  • Manage the weekly development and dissemination of the Authentic Newsletter to the company’s network of 1400+ brand, retail, and entertainment industry partners around the world
  • Collaborate with business, marketing and HR teams to produce bespoke communications and newsletters for key audiences and markets
  • Lead Authentic’s corporate social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Explore and present new and emerging digital opportunities to grow Authentic’s corporate profile on social media
  • Manage the corporate creative workflow; development and maintenance of corporate collateral and resources, including the Authentic website and Newsroom, key books and decks, sizzle reels and videos, branded assets and more based on the needs of the business
  • Partner with PR/Communications and Human Resources to maintain Authentic’s Corporate Communications calendar, execute companywide town hall meetings and draft and distribute internal and external communications such as organizational and business updates, etc.
  • Collaborate with Communications to execute Authentic’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) playbook and drive the education, communication and implementation across the company and global partner network
  • Support the ongoing advancement of Authentic’s ERG initiatives as well as charitable partnerships, employee engagement events and brand PR events

Must Haves

  • 5+ years of experience working in communications with a background in editorial, media and social
  • Proactive storyteller who initiates creative ideas and identifies opportunities that support the overall corporate strategy and goals
  • Ability to prioritize and meet strict daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Thorough knowledge of digital communication platforms (web, social, email, etc.)
  • Excellent editorial writing and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for the licensing, fashion, retail, entertainment and media industries
  • Proficiency in email marketing software (Constant Contact, Mailchimp), media monitoring databases and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – Keynote skills are a PLUS

Primary Location Salary Range:

$90,000 - $100,000
