Requirements
About the role
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role will be responsible for partnering with the G&A organization to support and drive sound financial decision making in a dynamic and fast-paced business. This role will provide accessible and digestible financial data and analyses, and will equip business leaders with actionable insights to guide capital allocation, budgeting, resourcing, and business case decisions. Additionally, the person in this role will drive core financial reporting and will relentlessly pursue improvements to the financial forecast and long term financial model to position the function for operating as a public company.
Responsibilities
- Build and own deep business partnerships across G&A functions (Finance, Legal, Facilities, and People)
- Build and relentlessly improve upon financial models that analyze and provide visibility into our cost structure and core operating levers
- Own the companyâs balance sheet and cash flow forecast
- Help produce the annual operating plan and rolling forecasting
- Build out the long term financial model and help us prepare for IPO
- Own Roktâs consolidated financial reporting process including the production of all regular updates to finance leadership and other stakeholders
- Own and maintain the Adaptive Planning environment
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including FP&A at a fast-growing tech company. Experience at a publicly-listed company, or a background in IB/PE/VC is a plus
- Demonstrated history of building business partnerships with executive leadership. Experience working with Product and Engineering teams is a plus
- Exceptional technical competency â able to bring structure to disparate data and build financial models to solve complex financial problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate financial concepts to operating teams and financial insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to effectively distill complex information into consumable narratives or stories and curate communications for different audiences
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, able to parse out the âwhyâ from the âwhatâ and ultimately drive analyses to their logical outcomes
- Bachelorâs degree required, MBA a plus
- Experience with Adaptive Planning is a plus
